About ROCA

The official alumni association of Rangpur Cadet College — connecting CCRians across generations, professions, and borders since 1982.

Rangpur Old Cadets' Association

The Rangpur Old Cadets' Association (ROCA) is the official alumni association of Rangpur Cadet College (CCR), established on 19 December 1982. The association was founded by a small group of ex-cadets who gathered at Room 230, Dr Fazle Rabbi Hall, Dhaka Medical College Hostel — arranged by AKM Akhteruzzaman (1/4) and Firoz Mahmood Iqbal (1/11). From that first meeting of seven people, ROCA has grown into a registered national association uniting CCRians across every profession and corner of the world.

The association serves as a platform for ex-cadets to maintain connections, share experiences, and contribute to the development of both the association and the college. ROCA facilitates networking, supports social welfare activities, organises reunions, and advocates for the interests of CCRians everywhere.

ROCA is registered with the Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. The registration process was initiated in 2003, and the certificate was formally obtained in 2023.

"ROCA serves as a bridge between past and present — fostering connections among former cadets, promoting a sense of loyalty to the institution, and contributing positively to the college's ongoing success and growth."
