An alumni family spanning over four decades

Rangpur Old Cadets' Association (ROCA) is the official alumni association of Rangpur Cadet College (CCR), founded on 19 December 1982. From a gathering of seven ex-cadets in a Dhaka hostel room, ROCA has grown into a registered national association uniting CCRians across every profession.

The First Meeting

Seven ex-cadets gathered at Dhaka Medical College Hostel. Twelve founding decisions were taken and a convening committee formed.

4 Feb 1983

First General Meeting

The constitution was adopted and the first Executive Committee elected. Monir Ahmed (1/15) became ROCA's first President.

First Reunion

The first ROCA Reunion was held on 16–18 November 1989. Free Friday Health Services launched at Moghbazar Community Centre.

Registration Journey

Registration initiated with Ministry of Social Welfare in 2003. The formal certificate was obtained in 2023 after a two-decade process.
